Similar to the knee-type frame of the interact - but with a more powerful head- based on a rigid one piece of iron casting mounted directly on the column. The d.c motor spindle drive can transmit up to 6 h.p. (4.4 kW) and enables full advantage to be taken of carbide cutter for fast stock removal and high surface finish. Twin recruiting ball- screws with the Z axis drive ensure balanced power transmission and precise depth control. Fitted with No.30 ISO Quick Change Spindle.
