Slant Bed: 30° from horizontal, utilising hardened and ground tool steel replaceable bedways, supporting ‘T’ design carriage and cross slide assembly.
Main Drive From a 22KW (30HP) variable speed, reversing AC Motor with Direct-coupling to the Headstock Drive Shaft. Spindle speeds available from 50 to 3000 RPM in 1 RPM increments.
Axis Drive Through constant torque Servo Motors, AC powered PWM-controlled, providing feed rates from 2.5 to 6350mm/min (0.1 – 250in/min)
12 Position Combination Disc Turret
Housing eight O.D. and four I.D. turning tools.
Two boring bar holders supplied with machine allow for an alternative turret arrangement of six O.D. and six I.D. turning tools.
A curvic coupling is used ensuring sustained accuracy and the bi-directional turret systems allows for minimum idle time, with 330° indexing in only 4 seconds.
Machine fitted with: Fanuc OT-C CNC control
