The Makino MC1513 Horizontal Machining Center is of heavy duty design. The high-speed spindle is powered by a heavy-duty 18.5 kW (25 HP) continuous use in full rotation range and 22 kW (30 HP) with 30 minutes rating brushless AC motor. The machine has rigid and sturdy construction. Patented half-floating slideways for X-axis table and Z-axis column movements assure movements free from load, cutting force variation and stick-slip, This enables the highest machining accuracy and the longest service life. The large pallet can accommodate workpieces weighing up to 3,000 kg (6,600 lbs). Heavy duty.
